Ticketless Payment with Enhancements

This enhancement allows for the following two measures to ensure agents correctly add the appropriate form of payment information in a PNR that has a Ticketless Payment carrier’s segment(s)

A system End Transaction Edit to remind agents to add the form of payment in a PNR containing a Ticketless Payment carrier’s segment(s)

The modification of the sell comment verbiage to replace CC with FOP

** Detailed Enhancement Information **

System End Transaction Edit
To ensure agents include the credit card form of payment information in an SSR OTHS item prior to End Transaction, a system End Transaction Edit has been created.

With the addition of this Edit, when an agent sells a segment for a Ticketless Payment carrier and Ends Transaction on the PNR, the system checks to ensure the credit card information has been added in an SSR OTHS item (e.g., SSROTHSXXHK1CC). If the SSR item is missing from the PNR, the following E.T. Edit response text displays-

OR GO USERS SELECT TICKETLESS PAYMENT SCRIPT FROM THE PNR TAB

A second End Transaction can override the edit, permitting End Transaction to be performed.

If a Ticketless Payment Carrier allows for an alternate form of payment and a credit card number is not included in the SSR OTHS entry, the E.T. response displays. The agent can override the response with a second End Transaction.

The agent must add the SSR item to the PNR in order to End Transaction.

The system edits at every End Transaction to determine if a new Ticketless Payment segment has been added. If the agent attempts to End Transaction after adding a new segment without adding the SSR OTHS item, the system E.T. Edit response text will display.

Sell Comment
Currently when a segment is sold for an carrier participating in Ticketless Payment, a sell comment displays below the sold segment as shown for Independence Air.

Enter after G/AIR/DH0 to display information stored in the GRS page regarding Ticketless payment.

Carriers have different requirements. It is imperative that you check each carrier’s GRS page to ensure proper completion of adding the SSR OTHS item.

In the future, some carriers may allow for a form of payment other than a credit card. For this reason, the sell comment has been modified to read FOP instead of CC.
