The Secure Flight Ruling, issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), requires airlines to send Redress Numbers and Known Traveler Numbers (when applicable) of each passenger traveling into, out of, over the U.S. or traveling on a U.S. based airline.

Secure Flight Phase 2, which includes the ability to input Known Traveler and Redress Number as well as the masking of personal data, will be implemented for all Worldspan customers at 0400 ET Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
